William Robert Whatley, 59, of Cuthbert passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 in the Willson Hospice House. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lee Wright officiating.

Mr. Whatley was born on February 9, 1959 in Cuthbert the son of the late Johnnie and Mary Elizabeth Lane Whatley. He was a self-employed mechanic and was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers; Charles Whatley and Johnny Whatley.

Survivors include 2 Aunts; Esther Thornton of Cuthbert and Ethel Yeatts of Albany, 2 nephews; Dave Whatley of Cuthbert and Tom Whatley of Benevolence, a niece, Tabitha Whatley of Benevolence, a cousin, Eddie Giles of Cuthbert and a number of cousins.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the cemetery.
