Roger Dewayne Barfield, 57, of Monticello, Fl. died on January 11, 2021 in the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, FL. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 15, 2021 in the Roseland Cemetery in Monticello, FL with Rev. E. Bob Kuschel officiating.

Roger was born on October 20, 1963 in Quitman, GA the son of the late Gene and Arminda Knight Barfield. He attended school in Jefferson County, FL, worked at Barfield Savage with his father and was a member of the Jefferson Co. Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include 2 sisters, Cathy Barfield (Danny) Pearson and Susan Barfield Cox of Monticello, FL, 2 nieces, Heather P. (Cody) Page and Brittany Pearson, 3 nephews, Robert (Amanda) Cox, Lance (Kim) Cox and Michael (Breeahna) Cox, 5 great nieces, Ezella Cox, Greer Cox, Trinity, Cox, Grace Cox and Michaela Cox and 2 great nephews, Peyton Page and Nathan Page.
