Roger Vance Phillips, 65 of Coleman, Ga. died March 7, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 9th at 11:00 AM at Lunsford Funeral Home in Cuthbert, with Rev. Wayne Thomas officiating with interment in the Coleman Cemetery.

Mr. Phillips was born April 12, 1947 in Haines City, Florida, the son of the late Lewis and Joyce Flinchum Phillips. He was retired from the Polk County Florida Sheriff's Department and was a member of the Coleman Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; Sue Watford Phillips of Coleman, a daughter; Rhonda Phillips of Interlachan, FL, two sons; Robert Phillips of Interlachan, FL and Randall Phillips of Haines City, FL, two step-sons; James Tessalone, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Coleman and Michael Tessalone and his wife Jacquelyn of Orlando, FL, a sister; Joan Willis and her husband Michael of Haines City, FL, 11 Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

The family will recieve friends Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
