Ronald (Ron) Nelson Stephens passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in the East View Cemetery with Rev. Jay Thomason officiating.

Mr. Stephens was born April 21, 1939 in Raeford, NC, the son of the late Frank and Blanche McKeithen Stephens. He was a high school graduate, a member of the National Guard for 3 years, a member of the Dawson First Baptist Church and the retired owner of Capital Plumbing.

Survivors include his wife; Dorothy (Dottie) B. Stephens of Cuthbert, 2 sons; Andy (Barb) Stephens of Ocala, FL and Brad (Kerri) Stephens of Fort Gaines, 2 grandsons; Ryan and Jonathan Stephens, 2 granddaughters; Kayla (Austin) Mills and Brittany Stephens and her fiancé; Jacob Davis and 2 sisters; Libby Heverly of Emerald Isle, NC and Jean Long of Raeford, NC.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
