Ronald "Ronnie" Robert Beard, 71, of Cuthbert, GA passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023, in the Roosevelt Warm Springs Long Term Acute Care Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Monday, November 27, 2023, in the Chapel of Lunsford Funeral Home with Dr. Ben McFather officiating and interment to follow in Cuthbert Eastview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until funeral time in the chapel.

Ronnie was born on October 11, 1952, in Edison, GA the son of the late Donald Robert Beard and Lee Wilkerson Beard. He was a graduate of Randolph County High School and a retired Independent Insurance Agent. He was a member of Damascus Baptist Church, attended Faith Baptist Church. He was an avid Bulldog fan, fisherman, loved hunting arrowheads, motorcycling, golfing, loved his family and was a member of the Sons of Confederacy. He was preceded in death by his father and a son Brandon Robert Beard.

Survivors include his daughter, Leanne (Kevin) Lupo of Powder Springs, GA, mother, Lee Wilkerson Beard of Cuthbert, GA, 3 sisters, Derenda Brock of Leesburg, GA, Pat (Wayne) Watson of Cuthbert and Sue Wills of Leesburg, GA, a brother, Tommy (Betsy) Beard of Phoenix, AZ, 2 grandchildren, Kolton and Wyatt and special friends, Scott and Christy Peavy of Cuthbert.
