Ronald "Ronnie" Dennis Grubbs, 68, of Cuthbert passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 17, 2015 in the New Bethel Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Dwayne Greene officiating.

Ronnie was born on July 7, 1947 in Cuthbert the son of the late James Malcolm Grubbs and Lorena Odom Grubbs. He was a retired farmer, an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Dennis Grubbs, and a brother, David Grubbs.

Survivors include a step daughter, Debra Pearson of Cuthbert, 2 sisters; Cheryl "Chick" Meadows and her husband Hal of Cuthbert and Sandra "Sandy" Gosney and her husband Jim of San Juan Capistrano, CA., 2 step grandchildren, Marissa Pearson and Sirena Pearson and a loyal friend, Roy Taylor.

The family will receive friends at Lunsford Funeral Home on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
