TERRI ANN NICHOLS

Tierney “Terri” Ann Boyd Nichols, 63, of Shellman, GA passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 11, 2026, in the Shellman First Baptist Church with interment to follow in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery near Dawson with Rev. Chet Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 PM until funeral time.

Terri was born on March 26, 1962, in Waycross, GA the daughter of the late Rebecca Boyd McCook and Robert Roy Boyd. She was a graduate of Ware County High School, served as office manager for Dental Partners in Dawson and was a member of the Shellman First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Robert Dwayne Boyd.

Survivors include her husband, Stanley Thomas Nichols, Jr. of Shellman, father, Robert Roy Boyd and step mother, Gail Boyd of Waycross, step father, Thomas McCook of Shellman, sister, Merri Boyd Blount of Waycross, step sister, Tiffany (Charles) Vaughn of Waycross, 2 step brothers, Blake (Stacy) Dowling of Waycross and Tommy McCook of Shellman, nephew, Zachay (Rachel) Blount and nieces, Samantha (Matt) Hill, Alexandra (Victor) Pinones, Jenna (Alon) Levy, Zachary Dowling and Anthony Vaughn..
