Thomas Eric Ray, 76, of Cuthbert, Ga. passed away suddenly Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted in East View Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 26, 2014 with Willard Odom and Richard West officiating.

Thomas was born on January 16, 1938 in Cuthbert the son of the late Henry Scovill and Ione Causey Ray. He was a self-employed electrician, member of the Dixie Auto Club, a veteran of the 48th Armed Division of the National Guard and a graduate of Cuthbert High School.

Survivors include a son, Brian Ray of Cuthbert, 2 daughters, Michelle R. Odom and her husband Greg of Leslie and Cheryl R. West of Cuthbert, the mother of the children, Carol Ray of Cuthbert, 2 sisters, Betty Jane Story of Americus and Rebecca Cook of Buena Vista and 4 grandchildren, Hannah Odom, Garrett Odom, Matthew West and Caleb West.
