Tony Auburn Davis, 63, of Shellman died July 13, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 16, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Lunsford Funeral Home in Cuthbert, with Rev. Olin Johnson officiating. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM in Pickles Cemetery in Early County with Rev. Sterling Jones officiating.

Mr. Davis was born March 20, 1949 in Blakley, son of the late George "Byrd" Auburn Davis and Etteen Temples Davis. He was a Graduate of Early County High School in 1969 and Albany Techin 1989 as a Radiology Technician and in 1972 from Albany Tech in Data Processing. He was an X-ray Technician for Crisp Hosptial and Phoebe-Sumter regional Hospital. Mr Davis was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Davis was an avid gardener and had recieved the Garden of The Month Award in Shellman.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Nicole Davis Wilson of Leesburg, and Vonda Davis of Atlanta, 3 brothers, George "Scaper" Davis, Jimmy Davis ,and  Billy Davis of Albany, 4 sisters, Peggy Willoughby of Dothan, AL. Loretta Alexander of Albany, Betty Sue Davis of Port St. Joe, FL. and Barbara Jean Barron of Blakley, 3 grandchildren, Shelby, Madison and Reagan Wilson and 21 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, James "Buck" Davis and a sister, Linda Davis

The family will recieve friends Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Lunsford Funeral Home.
