Homer Latrelle "Trelle" Whaley, 84, of Shellman, GA. passed away on Saturday, April, 25, 2015 in the Joe-Anne Burgin Nursing Home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 2:00 PM in East View Cemetery in Shellman with Dr. Bruce Pittman officiating.

Mr. Whaley was born on July 3, 1930 in Shellman the son of the late Paul Sale and Frances Jones Whaley. Mr. Whaley worked with the Boll Weevil Eradication Program. He was a member of the Shellman First Baptist Church and was a Veteran serving in the United States Navy.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years,  Diana Bell Whaley of Shellman, 2 daughters, Trella Whaley of Shellman and Phyllis Mason and her husband Patrick of Salisbary N.C. and a sister Paula W. Brandon of Summerfield, FL.
