Verlee Ruth Slemmons Lunsford

Verlee Ruth Slemmons Lunsford 79, of Leary passed away Monday Aug. 29, 2016 at Pheobe Putney North in Albany.

Mrs. Lunsford was born Aug. 26, 1937 in Lake Park Ill. the daughter of Vern and Ruth Stobie Slemmons. She was a high school graduate and was Retired from the Florida Dept. of Motor Vehicles as an Examiner.

She was of the Lutheran Faith.

Survivors include a daughter Cynthia Lunsford Campbell of Leary Ga. 2 sons Phillip W. Lunsford of Michigan, and Vern T.  Lunsford, Mountain Home, Arkansas and a  twin sister of  Vivian Martinez (Tony)  of  Cumming Ga. and a Brother-in-Law Carl Deak; and 5 Grandchildren; and 10 great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister Karen Deak and a step-father Arthur Awe.
