Vonda Jean Payne Thompson 53, of Cuthbert passed away Tuesday Sept. 19, 2017 at her residence. Graveside memorial services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday Sept. 30, 2017 in Eastview Cemetery with the Bro. Leaman Foxworth officiating.

Vonda was born July 1, 1964 in Miami FL the daughter of the late Gordon Dale and Juanita Hinson Payne. She was a high school graduate and was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Cynthia Payne.

Survivors include her husband; Derrell (Rock) Thompson of Cuthbert, 2 step daughters; Heather Worsley and Jessica Thompson, a step son; Derrell (Bubba) Thompson, a brother; Roger Dale Payne and 3 step grandchildren.
