Charles Walton "Walt" Killingsworth, Sr., 88, of Fort Gaines, GA passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Brightmoor Hospice in Macon, GA. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 21, 2025, in Fort Gaines's New Park Cemetery with Rev. George Hartley officiating.

Walt was born on February 14, 1937, in Cuthbert, GA, the son of the late Albert Sanders Killingsworth, Sr. and the late Evelyn Puckett Killingsworth. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA Degree, a retired Supervisor with the Georgia Department of Human Resources, US Army Veteran and attended Fort Gaines Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Amy Killingsworth of Albany, GA, 2 sons, Walt (Hilary) Killingsworth, Jr. of Dothan, AL and Mich (Lisa) Killingsworth of Warner Robins, a brother, Albert S. Killingworth, Jr. of Montgomery, AL, 5 grandchildren, Tom (Alyssa) Killingsworth, Sabrina Killingsworth, Lily Anne Killingsworth, Olivia Killingsworth, and Boone Killingsworth and 2 great grandchildren, Kaicen Norris and Alaia Norris.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
