Wessie Bea Shattles, 94, of Shellman passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in the Joe Anne Burgin Nursing Home. Memorial services will be conducted on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the residence of her sister Grace Lee at 198 Turner St. Edison, Ga.

Mrs. Shattles was born on November 4, 1923 in Randolph County the daughter of the late Wesley L. and Nellie Ranew Shellhouse. She was a member of the Shellman First Baptist Church and a retired seamstress from the Oxford Shirt Plant. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Rufus Claude Shattles and a son; Sam Shattles.

Survivors include a sister; Grace Lee of Edison, a sister-in-law; Agnes Shellhouse and 4 grandchildren.
