Judge William LeRoy McMurray, Jr., 92, of Atlanta passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 in Duluth, Ga. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Cuthbert East View Cemetery with Rev. Richard Hawks officiating.

Judge McMurray was born on April 11, 1925 in Rock Hill, SC. the son of the late William LeRoy McMurray, Sr. and the late Ethel Monfort McMurray. He was retired Court Judge from the Ga Appellate Court after 23 years, a World War II and Korea War Veteran and a member of the Peachtree Presbyterian Church of Atlanta.

Survivors include his wife; Rosemary McMurray of Atlanta, 2 daughters; Helen M. (David) Thorpe of La Guna Beach, CA. and Nancy M. (Tommy) Standard of Cordele, a sister; Jane Winne of Perry, and 5 grandchildren.
