WILTON G. RIGSBY

CUTHBERT, GA.

Wilton (Bear) G. Rigsby, 83, of Cuthbert passed away on Wednesday, March 08, 2017, in Patterson Hospital in Cuthbert.

Bear was born on June 6, 1933, in Pachitla Community near Cuthbert, the son of the late Clifford Gordon and Mae Grimes Rigsby. He was a high school graduate and was an Army veteran of the 82 ^nd Airborne. He was a retired farmer and was a charter board member of Randolph Southern School. He served on the Ga Peanut Commission Advisory Board and was the Vice-President of Randolph County Farm Bureau. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; Beryl Ethridge Rigsby of Cuthbert; 2 daughters: Gina R. (John) Ward of Cuthbert, Greta R. (Bob) Grant of Shellman; a son, Clifford Rigsby of Cuthbert, 3 grandchildren: Cameron, and Parker Rigsby and Grant Ward;  Canine companions Dbo and Bentley.

Visitation will be 5-7 PM Thursday Mar. 9, 2017 at Lunsford Funeral Home.
