ANNIE LEE (BARFIELD) SHOMPER

Annie Lee Barfield Shomper, 67, of Leesburg, GA passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023, in the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 28, 2023, in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Crowdis officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until funeral time in the cemetery.

Annie was born on June 30, 1956, in Americus, GA the daughter of the late Hozie Lee and Annie Belle Groover Barfield. She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church and a Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Andrew Shomper and a son, Eric Shomper.

Survivors include a daughter, Misty Callaway of Leesburg and a son, Robert (Becky) Shomper of Clay Center, KS, 3 sisters, Thelma Etheredge of Columbus, Mildred Norris, of Leesburg and Illabee (Paul) Brown of Powder Springs, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
