EVELYN (TODD) TAYLOR

Francis Evelyn Todd Taylor, 92, of Cuthbert died Monday, November 14, 2022, at Phoebe Putney Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Murkerson and Rev. David Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Cuthbert Eastview Cemetery.

Mrs. Taylor was born May 23, 1930, in Edison, Ga. the daughter of the late William Henry and Lucy Pollock Todd. She retired after many years working in the garment manufacturing Industry with Fritex, Kellwood and Editex. She was a graduate of Morgan High School and a member of the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Homer Hollis Taylor.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Joyce Bryant of Cuthbert and Teresa (David) Wentworth of Sylvester, a son, Robert (Karen) Taylor of Leesburg, 2 brothers, Bobby Todd and Jerry Todd both of Winter Haven, FL, 6 grandchildren, Andy, Melinda, Chris, Shannon, Chad and Justin, 11 great grandchildren, Annabeth, JB, Kaitlyn, Skylar, Chandler, Austin, McKenzie, Dekota, Ella and Gage and 2 great great grandchildren, Dawson and Brantley.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in care of Gloria Melton 887 District Line Rd. Cuthbert, GA 39840.
