Gerald (Jerry) Martin Flathman, Jr. 87, of Cuthbert passed away Thursday Mar. 7, 2019 at the Willson Hospice House.

Mr. Flathman was born Feb. 19, 1932 in ST. Paul MN the son of the late Gerald Flathman, Sr. and Agnes Gadow Flathman. Mr. Flathman was a Graduate of Johnson High School in St. Paul, MN., he attended Dartmouth College in NJ, a graduate from Macalester College in St. Paul MN and a graduate of Wartburg Seminary at Dubuque, IA. He was an avid sportsman and sports official and a retired Lutheran Minster. He was preceded in death by his parents and a stepdaughter, Katherine Cosic

Survivors include his wife, Eleanor A. Flathman of Cuthbert, 2 daughters, Claudia Jean (Rick) Busch of Maple Grove, MN and Kathryn Elizabeth (Rick) Ginestra of Kansas City, MO, a stepdaughter, Anne Marie Cegon; 2 sons, Marcus (Oksana) Flathman of Santa Barbara, CA and Jeffrey Gerald (Coleen) Flathman of Overland Park, KS, two stepson, Peter Alexander Hansen, and Mark Louis (Debra) Hansen; 14 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
