Jane Kuykendoll, 87, of Morris, Ga. passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023, in the Fellowship Home at Meriwether in Milledgeville, Ga. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday February 13, 2023 in Lunsford Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Hartley officiating.

Ms. Kuykendoll was born on July 20, 1935 in Young Harris, Ga. the daughter of the late Willie Odell and Fannie Henson Kuykendoll. Ms. Kuykendoll received her doctorate from the University of Alabama and was a retired College Professor from the University of Georgia. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and attended Morris Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Dan Kuykendoll and Ronald (Ronnie) Kuykendoll.

Survivors include her sister, Barbara (Jim) Strickland of Eatonton, Ga. a sister-in-law, Joyce Kuykendoll, nieces, Kim (Jim) Leben ,Anne (Mike) Davis, a nephew, Danny (Jennifer) Kuykendoll; great nieces, Megan Leben and Ansley Davis; great nephew Grant Davis; her long-term high school friends, camp friends, college colleagues, and numerous special cousins.

A special thanks to her caregivers at the Henry County Rehabilitation, Fellowship Home at Meriwether and Pruitt Hospice.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Bass, Mike Dugan, Frank Redding, Benny Osteen, John Robinson, Sonny Crozier and Mr. Howard.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 on Monday, February 13^th at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to Barbstrick1@comcast.net
