LES LANG

Leslie Howard “Les” Lang, 82, of Cuthbert, GA passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at his residence. Memorial services will be conducted at 5:00 PM on Sunday, December 12, 2021 in the chapel of Lunsford Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until service time.

Les was born on June 15, 1939, in Marwood, PA the son of the late Howard and Esther Collins Lang. He received an associate degree from Slippery Rock College and was a retired Randolph Co. Farmer. He was an Army Veteran and attended Damascus Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Linda Peavy Lang and a daughter-in-law, Jean Bennett.

Survivors include a son, Steven Lang of Athens, GA, brother, Richard (Sandy) Lang of Marwood, PA and a granddaughter, Ashleigh.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Mandy White 302 Highland Ave. Cuthbert GA 39840 or you may take someone to lunch at the Townhouse Restaurant in honor of Mr. Les.
