MARGUERITE M. BOYD DuVALL CARSON 101 Died March 6, 2023 at the Fellowship Home at Cottonhill in Cuthbert, Ga.

Mrs. Carson was born September 4, 1921 in Hugheston, WV the daughter of the late Robert and Emma Elswick Boyd. She was a high school graduate and was employed by and retired from the Savannah River Plant, Aiken, South Carolina. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Evans, Ga.

She married Guy M. DuVall (deceased) April 20, 1941 and she is survived by a daughter Deanna DuVall (Roy) McDonald of Cuthbert, Ga., a son Gary R. (Kitty) DuVall of Greensboro, NC; a granddaughter Laura McDonald and a great granddaughter Sydney of Shellman, Ga. Mrs. Carson married Richard Carson, (deceased), and is survived by stepdaughter Jan (Biff) Sowell of Columbia, SC and step-granddaughters Jill and Carson and her two sons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Thomas and Jonathan and sisters Evelyn and Mary.
