RENA (GILES) TURNER

Rena Giles Turner, 56, of Ft. Gaines, GA passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022, in the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 12, 2022, in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. George Hartley officiating.

Rena was born on March 7, 1966, in Ft. Gaines the daughter of the late Jerry Giles and Mable Mathis Giles. She was the manager of the Riverside Deli in Ft. Gaines and was a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father and a grandchild, Sealie Harrell.

Survivors include her mother, Mable Mathis Giles of Ft. Gaines, her companion, Mike Willis of Ft. Gaines, 2 daughters, Bobbie (Andy) Giles Brown of Ft. Gaines and Maura Ann Shivers of Ft. Gaines, a stepdaughter, Alicia (Trey) Willis Harrell of Blakely, 2 sons, Rodney Allen (Kaylee) Turner of Blakely and Edward Keith Turner of Ft. Gaines, a stepson, Clayton Michael (Amanda) Willis of Blakely 2 sisters, Tammy Marie Giles and Emily (Bobby) Giles Milner both of Ft. Gaines, 12 grandchildren, Grayson, Bryson, Kaiden, Kyleigh, Mathew, Jackson, Cheyenne, Trenton, Mackenzie, Timothy, James and Jesse, special nephew, Tyler Giles and special cousins, Jill and Art Giles.

The family will receive friends on Sunday at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Serving as active pallbearers will be Trey Crozier, Charles Crozier, Corey Crozier, Justin Wiley, Nathan Hubbard and Aaron Feyes and the fire department as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in care of Glenda Lewis P. O. Box 434 Ft. Gaines, GA 39851.
