SARAH (COTTON) RICHARDSON

 Sarah Cotton Richardson 82, passed away Sunday February 2, 2020 at Piedmont Health Care in Columbus, Ga. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday Feb. 4, 2020 at the Marvin United Methodist Church in Louvale with the Rev. Larry Langford, Bro. Brad Faircloth, Bro. Mike Webb and Bro. Rob McDaniel officiating.

Mrs. Richardson was born Oct. 24, 1937 in Omaha, Ga. the daughter of the late Ernest Clyde and Maggie Louise Pope Cotton. Mrs. Sarah was raised by her Grandparents George and Mamie Pope and she was a high school graduate and attended Perry Business College in Columbus Ga. She was a retired CEO for the Stewart Webster Rural Health Clinic and was a member of Marvin United Methodist Church in Louvale. Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James “Jimmie Dick” Richardson and a daughter Sallie Richardson.

Survivors include a son John Bernard (Tiffany) Richardson, a daughter Martha (Rusty) Henson both of Louvale; a sister Vicki Robinson of Lizella, Ga.; 2 Brothers E.C. Cotton of Omaha, Ga. and Charlie Cotton of Cuthbert; 3 grandchildren Russ (Carmen) Henson, Alexander (Madison) Richardson and Anna Richardson and a great grandchild Bayla Henson.

The family will receive friends 6-8 Monday Feb. 3, 2020 at Lunsford Funeral Home.
